DAN NOVARRO

Daniel Novarro is a Writer, Director, Editor, and VFX Artist of Puerto Rican descent. He is a graduate of NYU Tisch's film program. When he's not working as a Visual Effects Supervisor in Film and Television, Dan is Constantly creating; making videos for YouTube and TikTok which have accumulated hundreds of millions of views. Dan's biggest passion is telling stories with latino culture at the forefront. Dan's work explores themes featuring Taino culture and mythology. A descendant of the Taino people, Dan's goal is to preserve and share his ancestors culture that colonizers have nearly destroyed.

Dan has experience directing commercials, music videos, and short films. He also has experience as a freelance editor, VFX artist, and colorist; creating content for clients such as Lil Nas X and VH1. Currently, he's working on the VFX team for Amazon Prime Video's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. He is most proud of his time as the Directors PA on the set of West Side Story (2020). Dan is also a 3 time contestant on the popular obstacle course show American Ninja Warrior. He totally won each time, but don’t google that.
